Day 3

I suck. I do so good during the day, and then I give in to temptation at night. But now that I know that's one of my weaknesses I will work on it.

My calories for yesterday (that I will admit to on paper) was 1827. I only had 2 Dr. Peppers.

I worked out for 40 minutes.

I had 3 big gulps full of water.

I cheated by having a leftover rib. But they are soooooo good.

I think I have Paul convinced I (we) need to join the gym. So your task for today is to tell me which gym is better. A nationwide chain? The Y?

Oh, and I have lost 3 pounds already.

Only 2 Dr. Peppers. How did you manage? ;)

If you like Orange soda, I highly recommend Diet Sunkist. It doesn't have the icky after taste like a lot of diet sodas have.

Diet soda is not good for diets. They contain high levels of benzene. You are way better off drinking water so keep on the great effort of reducing the regular Dr. Pepper. The artifical sweetener in the diet sodas has a bad effect on the body. Equal, Splenda, it doesn't matter. You need way more vegetables. Think of a dinner plate, and think of a protein being the size of your fist and the rest should be vegetables. Just reducing calories will work, but your body will be starving for nutrients. If you want a shake to drink, don't use Slim Fast. Use protein whey powder. My protein shake (has no sugar, no artificial sweeteners) mixed with water is 110 calories. Chocolate flavor.

Very impressed with your workout level. I couldn't manage that!
