An Explanation


Over the weekend, I went to go support one of our local news crews in promoting their new "news hour". While there I had my picture taken with a few reporters. I get home and upload the pictures and this is what I see.....



Ugh, gross. (Not you Damali, me) That one threw me. You see, mentally, I still weigh 130. I can still wear skinny jeans. I didn't have 3 kids. And then I see myself and get slapped in the face.

AND, my 20th reunion is in exactly 2 months from today.

AND, I hate diets. I hate anything good for me.

So I created this blog so that I, selfishly, get some support by others. I need it. If I am to do this, I need my cheering section. Please stick around and throw some tips my way. I am keeping a food journal the old fashioned way thru out the day and will post my daily intake here. I have upped my water intake from none to peeing every 5 minutes. On my second big gulp full of the day. Intake, that is.

We will laugh, we will cry, I will be 20 pounds thinner in 2 months. Dangit!

I know that by drinking more water it will really help you to start dropping. I did this diet one time called the super hydration diet where I drank a gallon of water a day. I lost 10 lbs the first week.

Lots of fresh fruits and veggies. The darker/richer the are in color, the better they are for you. For a low cal/low fat icecream snack, I'd recommend Skinny Cow icecream sandwiches.
